My artistic passion is born from an endeavor to capture the beauty of our earth and the people that inhabit it in their most simplistic forms.

Though I had been photographing for a few years, in 2020, like many others, I felt stuck in my physical space; there was also a sense of overwhelm and chaos. This time in life initiated a drive to capture any space or idea that felt open or simple. While I was always drawn to minimalistic compositions, my ability to begin seeing people and spaces in their most raw and exposed elements became more profound. Now, when out in the field, if a scene feels chaotic or complicated, I move the camera or myself to find its purer elements.

With my home base in Southern California, it’s easy to become caught up in the everyday chaos and complications of life. It is through the lens when I get back to basics by capturing the beauty and simplicity of the earth and people that we tend to overlook.
